Sweet Pets

I love nicknaming my pets, even though their names are already like nicknames…

I call Pepsi “Poodle”, “Poopsie”, “Noodle”, “Doodle” and other names of the like. Well, last night, she acquired a new nickname: “Doughnut”

Why, you ask? Because the other night, I could swear she smelled like a fresh-baked doughnut. No, I wasn’t hungry, and no, there were no doughnuts in the house.

And now I have a question for you. Do your pets ever smell of something sweet? My cat Dharma almost always smells of Carnation milk. Perhaps it has something to do with the animals’ saliva. I shall have to research this. Maybe I’m crazy. I wouldn’t be surprised. You have to be crazy to be a home zookeeper, afterall!
