The Passionate Ailurophile

Monday, August 13th, 2007

Ailurphile is from two Greek words - ailouros (cat) and philos (lover of), so it’s literally cat lover. So, you can guess that Ailurophile.com is a blog of a cat lover, and you’d be right. At Ailurophile you will find the daily cat musings of one fur family and their adventures outside the realm of their pets as well.

It has a clean look and is full of witty humor. It’s also educational. I didn’t know what aiurolophile meant. I thought it had something to do with audio equipment!

The Purrfect Website

Thursday, July 26th, 2007

Pet blogs are a great way to share your pet’s personality and idiosyncrasies with the world. From time to time, I will be spotlighting pet blogs that I come across. If your pet has his/her own pet blog, let me know by leaving a comment.

The Purrfect Website chronicles the nine lives of eight kitty cats and their human Mommy and Daddy. The website has a nice cat theme that is really cute. The blog is fairly new but has plenty of pictures - which is a must when blogging about animals - and fun stories from the world from a cat’s point of view.

It has a clean style and features some adorable cats of all ages. There’s pictures and videos for your enjoyment. The Purrfect Website is a “purrfect” example of a good pet blog.

About Home Zookeeper

Home Zookeeper covers challenges and triumphs in the everyday life of a pet owner and animal lover. From pet allergies to adoption experiences, to catching that pesky-but-cute household rodent, every topic is covered with wonder and heart only to be understood by other “home zookeepers” in the world. What is life without animal encounters? Boring, that’s what!
